Match Charter Public School (Match) is a free, public school in Boston. We encourage all families in the city of Boston to learn more about Match and submit an application for our lottery.
Match serves grades pre-kindergarten (K1) through 12th and accepts lottery applications for grades K1 through 10th. We select students through an electronic random public lottery. Students who are not accepted in the lottery will be placed on a waiting list. Families will be contacted as spots become available in your child’s grade, and students, and will remain on that waiting list for the remainder of that school year. Lottery waitlists do not carry over to the following school year; families must reapply each year.
A child must reside in Massachusetts in order to enter the lottery. Children who reside in Boston receive preference in the enrollment lottery, as do siblings of current students.
Match strives to provide a safe, respectful, and supportive learning environment in which all students can thrive and succeed in our school. Match does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, creed, sex, gender identity, ethnicity, sexual orientation, mental or physical disability, age, ancestry, athletic performance, special need, proficiency in the English language or in a foreign language, or prior academic achievement when recruiting or admitting students.
