MATCH Corps:

Cohort XX

Erica Da Costa

Ms. Da Costa is from Brockton MA and attended Lasell University where she received a double bachelor's in legal studies/law and public affairs with a minor in public relations. She is very excited to join Match because she strongly believe in public service that works to better future generations. She hopes to further her education and earn a JD which motivates me to serve underrepresented communities due to the significant decrease in available resources and systematic disadvantages. Prior to Match, she was a full-time intern in Legislative affairs for the Executive Office of Public Safety and Security. Aside from school and work, I love to travel, read books, and just enjoy what life has to offer.

Alessandra Garcia

Ms. Garcia grew up in Phoenix, Arizona. She attended Arizona State University where she received her Bachelor's degree in Social Work. Ms. Garcia has always had a passion for working in education, and is eager to meet and work alongside students and their families. In her free time Ms. Garcia, enjoys spending time with her dogs, reading, and attending concerts.

mars villegas-mcfadden

mars grew up in Northern Virginia. They attended Cal Poly University, San Luis Obispo, earning a degree in Ethnic Studies and a minor in Women's Gender and Queer Studies. While they were completing their studies, they also accumulated experiences working in and managing coffee shops, and hope to open their own. In the meantime, they look forward to getting to know, teach, work, and bond with the students at Match. They are incredibly passionate about their course study (Ethnic Studies/CRT) and hope to apply and share that lens in their work with the students at Match. In their free time, they enjoy painting, drawing, making candles, watching movies, and spending time with their three adorable cats.
