Bethel Match and Science Scholars Summer STEAM Program

Ages: Rising 4th-7th (Current 3-6th grade)

Bethel Match and Science Scholars Summer STEAM Program is a 6-week summer program, that has a school year component on Saturdays. Recent program topics have included Animation, Aerospace Engineering, Programming, and Electrical Engineering. You can register on a week-by-week basis. Enrollment hasn’t begun.

Generation Teach Steam Academy

Generation Teach Steam Academy (GTSA) is a free, fun, and engaging 5-week, in-person summer enrichment program for rising 3rd-8th grade. They offer intense engineering, law, math, reading, art, and sports classes. The application will open late March.

Cost: Free

ACHIEVE provides the extra help that Boston’s hard-working students need to succeed in school and life. Their three-year program creates opportunities and resources so that deserving young people get the extra help that they need to achieve their dreams. Enrollment opened in January.

Hola at Hale Education provides a summer learning academy for elementary school students. HOLA uses best practices and proven methods to create fun, educational, and memorable summer experiences that blend academics and adventure.

Boston Explorers

At Boston Explorers, students get to learn about the Greater Boston community and its hidden gems. Would you like to go to the tops of tall buildings, and rowboats in the Boston Harbor, explore secret spaces, learn about Boston’s amazing history, build things with your hands, and have the freedom to roam around?

Camp Harbor View is located on Long Island in Boston Harbor. In addition to classic summer camp activities, Camp Harborview builds leadership skills while investing in creativity, and broadening students’ horizons. Enrollment has begun! Click to apply.

YMCA

Ages: K-2nd Only

Dates: June, July, & August

Cost: $100

The YMCA focuses on the child as a whole, through top-notch sports and swimming instruction, exploration of the community, and the development of lifelong friendships. The YMCA emphasizes seamlessly weaving literacy, math, and science lessons into the curriculum, preventing summer learning loss and making sure camp kids are ready to return to school in the fall.

Piers Park Sailing Center

Ages: Ages 6 and up

Dates: Varies depending on the program

Piers Park Sailing Center is inclusive and about 1/3 of participants of sailors have a cognitive or physical disability. PPSC’s goal is to foster an environment of mentorship where children increase science literacy, improve skills in problem solving and resilience, and gain confidence and esteem while having fun on the water.

Tenacity engages each age group and meets for a session that includes tennis classes and a variety of light reading and fitness activities. This dynamic program is offered free-of-charge on summer weekday mornings and afternoons.

JP Kids Arts

JP Kids Art’s goal is for students to learn with a community of practicing artists who encourage self-expression, foster empathy, and promote collaboration and creative problem-solving.

The Base

Ages: 1st-8th grade

Cost: Free

The Base is an afterschool and sports urban academy that uses the power of sports to engage youth in a positive, success-driven culture. They provide high-quality sports training and competition, along with programs for college access, career development, health and wellness, and STEM learning.

Camp Confidence

Ages: Ages 3-16

Dates: July - August

Cost: $700

Camp Confidence has an 10-week summer program designed to meet the developmental, social, and behavioral needs of children with Autism. They use principles of Applied Behavior Analysis that targets skills by creating a motivating operation, reinforcing positive behavior and modifying goals.

Camp Beyond

Ages: 8 - 14 (grades 3rd - 8th)

Dates: (families can select only one session of the two): Session 1: July 1, 2025 - July 12, 2025; Session 2: July 15, 2025 - July 26, 2025

Cost: $150 total ($25 deposit to secure camper spot)

Camp Beyond is a 2-week sleep-away camp hosted at Westfield State University. Camp Beyond offers campers the chance to expand their horizons through athletics, performing arts, art, photography, STEM, outdoor adventure, swimming, and Discovery. Enrollment has begun!

West End House Girls Camp

West End House Girls Camp

Ages: Ages 7-17

Dates: Session 1: June 28th - July 9th Session 2: July 12th - July 23rd Session 3: July 26th - August 6th


Cost: $1600-$3195

West End House Girls Camp is an overnight summer camp for girls ages 7-15, located in Southern Maine on the shores of Long Pond. The WEHGC experience is intentionally small, progressively multi-cultural, and 100% camper-focused. Enrollment has begun, and they offer financial aid. 

Camp Wing

Dates: Weekly sessions (June 28- August 27)

Cost: $100 ($25 deposit fee required at the time of application.)

Camp Wing, a Crossroads camp, provides a safe and stimulating environment where our campers are urged beyond their comfort zones to set and achieve goals, gain new skills through challenges, make positive choices, and develop healthy relationships with their peers and adults. Enrollment has begun!

A Thousand Summers

Cost: A Full Campership covers camp tuition after the family contribution.

A Thousand Summers connects students with one of 9 summer camps which vary by location. Students engage in many outdoor activities from sea kayaking to archery and backpacking.

Project Success

Project Success at Harvard is a program for BOSTON and CAMBRIDGE high school students only, particularly underrepresented and/or disadvantaged students, to participate in paid, mentored, summer research internships at Harvard Medical School and its affiliated institutions. The program is augmented by seminars and workshops given by faculty and administrators, site visits, and career counseling.
