Annual Reports
The Annual Report informs the public of the recently completed academic year as it relates to the school’s accountability plan objectives, academic performance, and evidence regarding the three areas guiding the charter public school: faithfulness to charter, academic program success, and organizational viability.
DESE Report Cards
Report cards answer important questions about a school’s overall performance and contain specific information about student enrollment and teacher qualifications, student achievement, accountability, how a school is performing relative to other schools in the district and the state, and the progress made toward narrowing proficiency gaps for different groups of students.

The school’s public profile has data on the student body, teacher population, assessment results, and accountability metrics.
Nondiscrimination Statement
Match Education strives to provide a safe, respectful, and supportive learning environment in which all students can thrive and succeed in our school. Match Education prohibits discrimination on the basis of actual or perceived race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national origin, physical or mental disability, religion, veteran status, homelessness and any other class of individuals protected from discrimination under state or federal law in any aspect of the access to, admission, or treatment of students in its programs and activities, or in employment and application for employment.

Governance

Match Education is the common brand name of two entities, Match Charter Public School (“MCPS”)and The Match Foundation, Inc. (the “Foundation”). Match Education is also the D/B/A of the Foundation. Match Education otherwise has no legal significance. It is used for marketing and branding purposes for the entities listed above. While these two organizations share this brand name and often collaborate, they are unique legal entities, each governed by independent boards of directors.
Match Charter Public School
The Match Foundation, Inc.
The Match Foundation, Inc. is a Massachusetts not-for-profit corporation and 501(c)(3) tax-exempt entity. It was incorporated in 1999, and it is governed by a board of directors with no overlapping board members on the board of MCPS. The foundation does not manage nor does it oversee any aspect of MCPS.
The foundation’s primary role is to raise money for MCPS and structure and fund the real estate transactions that provide facilities for MCPS.

The duties of the Records Access Officer are established by statute and include:
- Coordinating Match Charter Public School’s response to public records requests;
- Assisting individuals who seek records to identify the records sought;
- Assisting the custodian of records to preserve public records in accordance with the law;
- Preparing, posting online and periodically updating guidelines to enable the public to make informed public records requests; and
- Documenting, in compliance with M.G.L c. 66, § 6A(e), specific information about each request made for public records.
Please contact the Records Access Officer in writing regarding public records requests for documents pursuant to A Guide to the Massachusetts Public Records Law as published by William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth.
Barring an exception, records will generally be provided in electronic format within 10 business days. In the case where a response will take longer than 10 business days, the Records Access Officer will contact the requestor with an explanation for the delay, a good faith estimate of any fees that may be charged for the production of the records, and a reasonable time frame for when the records will be provided, which generally will not exceed 25 business days from the initial request.
