I did a summer pre college program at the University of Rochester for a pre-med exploration. I was able to get a first hand experience of the pre-med/medical school experience and network with current medical students at the university. I also was a junior mentor at Science Club for Girls which is in Cambridge. It’s an organization that helps to foster excitement and engagement about STEM fields for young girls and gender-expansive youth from the Boston/Greater Boston area. I am very grateful to work with young people who are interested in my life experience in high school and career goals, and be a role model. During my time at Match I was a part of a student led organization, MOSAIC, National Honors Society and the track team.

Match has helped me to advocate for myself and be unafraid to take academic risks.
